Richard Horton reported 2 Green Sandpiper and 3 Redshank today.Saturday June 25th
Mark Elsoffer reported a Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, a Ringed Plover, 3 Buzzard, a Red Kite and a Hobby this afternoon.Ringed Plover is the 131st species recorded on site this year.
Mark reported the following juvenile birds:
- c20 Starlings in a large flock with c40 adults.
- c12 Jackdaw spread throughout the Meadow.
- a Wood Pigeon in the Meadow.
- 8 Canada Goose of mixed ages in a "nursery" group.
- a brood of 4 Egyptian Goose.
- a brood of 2 Coot.
- at least 3 Common Tern chicks were visible on one of the islands
Mark also reported an Emperor Dragonfly, the first reported sighting for the year.
Sunday June 26th
Kevin Duncan reported that newly fledged Black-headed Gulls are now arriving from other breeding sites. The resident breeding birds are well behind with chicks just hatching.Kevin Duncan reported 3 new species for Tice's Meadow:

Garden Grass-veneer Moth (Chrysoteuchia culmella)
Common Amber Snail (Succinea putris)

Murray Nurse reported Meadow Brown, Small Skipper, Gatekeeper and Ringlet butterflies today.Murray also reported briefly seeing a skimmer dragonfly, probably a Black-tailed Skimmer.

Sunday July 3rd
John Hunt reported a Common Sandpiper and 2 Green Sandpiper this morning.John also reported a Roe Deer with 2 fawns in the Meadow.
Kevin Duncan reported a Clouded Yellow butterfly today. A rarity for Tice's Meadow, with only 1 sighting reported last year.

Monday July 4th
Andy Little reported a family group of Long-tailed Tits today - 2 adults and 7 juveniles.Tuesday July 5th
Richard Horton reported a Green Sandpiper, 6 Lapwing, a Curlew, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Red Kite and 3 Buzzard this afternoon.Curlew is the 132nd species recorded on site this year.
Black-tailed Godwit is the 133rd species recorded on site this year.
Wednesday July 6th
Paddy Lewin reported a Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 2+ Lapwing and a Black-tailed Godwit this morning.In addition, Richard Horton reported a Dartford Warbler this afternoon.
Dartford Warbler is the 134th species recorded on site this year. This is only the 5th recorded sighting of Dartford Warbler on site.
