A huge thank you to the 39 volunteers who attended our Loddon Rivers Week work party today. We worked in partnership with the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership, South East Rivers Trust, Surrey Choices & Surrey Hills Society, to clear a large section of the river of willow and rejuvenate the habitats. Unfortunately, we had to cut short the work party when we got hit by a tornado - everyone made it home safe, if a little wet.

This evening we had the great pleasure of sharing the world premiere of our new movie with 160 invited guests at the Farnham Maltings.

'Our Meadow' is a wonderful short film by Farnham film-maker Josh Guyan and we're delighted to announce that it has been selected to be shown at two prestigious wildlife film festivals this year in Belgium and Slovakia. Following festival season we hope to arrange some public showings locally, and eventually the film will be online for all to see.

Well done Josh. Your movie is wonderful and you really captured the essence of what makes Tice's Meadow Nature Reserve a special place for us all.

Please check out Josh's website and Instagram for more of his work:
