Surrey County Council are now running all volunteer work parties at Tice's Meadow. When they decide to publicise the dates, we will add them here.

Unfortunately, Surrey County Council were unable to run a work party today, so we led a walk around site for the Surrey Choices Growth Team instead.

We had the pleasure of hosting 12 students from the My Green Future programme this morning for a bird ringing session and snipe survey, delivered in partnership with the Surrey Hills Society.

Thanks to the 16 volunteers who attended the work party today. We topped up the dead hedges and cut some willow. As always, a delight to be working alongside the Surrey Choices Growth Team.

Roger and Anya ringed 22 birds in the new ringing lane this morning, including an overwintering Chiffchaff and a Cetti's Warbler born this year.

Katie and Tim visited Waverley Grange Care Home today to play bird bingo with the residents.

A big thank you to the 18 volunteers who attended the work party today. We cleared and piled a load of willow from the reedbeds, ready for burning tomorrow. As always, a delight to be working alongside the wonderful Surrey Choices Growth Team.
